Hey everyone, we have some exciting news for all Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora players! Ubisoft has listened to your feedback and are thrilled to announce that a third-person perspective mode is coming to the game in an upcoming free update.
When when when?
This free update will be released the 5th of December, 2025. Now you’ll be able to see your character while exploring and battling in the breathtaking world of Pandora, adding a whole new level of immersion to your gaming experience.
Get ready to rediscover the stunning forests and landscapes of Pandora like never before! But that’s not all – UBISOFT is also introducing a New Game+ mode in this update. This means that you can replay the story with all your existing skills and gear, but this time, you’ll face even tougher enemies and have access to a whole new skill tree to further challenge your abilities.
For a better immersive experience
I’m not entirely convinced that the 3rd person mode will enhance the basic story of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. While the jungle scenery is absolutely stunning, the interactions with the Na’Vi, the final battle, and the conversations could use a bit more excitement. The narrative feels a bit weak, bland, and predictable, and it doesn’t quite deliver those memorable characters or engaging dialogue that we all love.
Additionally, the combat can feel a bit shallow and repetitive, especially when facing those bullet-sponge enemies. There are also quite a few similar outposts and activities, which can make the game feel a bit bloated and repetitive at times.
It’s important for a game to keep us engaged, and at times, it can feel a bit… well, boring. So, while there’s definitely potential, there are some areas that could use a bit of a boost to really make it shine. Let’s hope that undefined will be addressed to make this game even more enjoyable for everyone! From the Ashes is set to be released on December 19, 2025. This expansion will be released on the same day as the Avatar: Fire and Ash movie premiere and features the story of the Na’vi warrior So’lek.
